Munirah is the Founder/President & CEO of Brandt International, which specializes in the areas of Business Transformation Consulting and Outsourcing with offices in 4 countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines. In 2014, she took Brandt International to a new height when the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) awarded the organisation as the Top Employer among MSC Malaysia companies. In 2016, the company won the OM Excellence Awards for Corporate CSR and Asian Shared Services & Outsourcing Network-Best Outsourcing Partnerships Award

Munirah holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from UK and she is a member of International Who’s Who of Professionals and Life Member of International Business Leaders. 

In recognition of her outstanding leadership abilities, she was recently conferred the “Women Leadership Achievement Award” from the World Women Leadership Congress and Awards in Mumbai, India. She also received the Women of Excellence Award in the Education and Training sector at The Inaugural Malaysian Women of Excellence Awards 2014.

She has over 25 years of Corporate experience, specializing in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Customer Experience Management (CEM), Human Performance Management, Strategic Management, Business Process Redesign, Sales and Marketing, and Project Management.

Besides managing a successful business, she is also an active contributor in NGOs activities. She was the elected President – CCAM (CRM & Contact Centre Association of Malaysia) 2005/6. and Deputy President (2013-2015). Her roles include championing various efforts to position the Contact Centre Industry as a ‘Career of Choice’ and promoting the job as a professional job. She is also an elected EXCO member of OM (Outsourcing Malaysia) 2010-2018, having served as a Lead for EPP-NKEA, an initiative by the Government and currently the Lead for Market Access.

Munirah is also actively involved in community development for women. In 2013, she was the Organizing Chairman of The Women’s Extraordinaire Forum (WEF) that successfully hosted the WEF after its successful launch in Hong Kong in 2011. She was instrumental in setting up the Women Extraordinaire Foundation in 2014 and is now the Chairman of the Foundation. The Foundation was established to provide an inspirational platform for women to enhance and transform their potential in life. Coming to a third year, the Women Extraordinaire Foundation organizes the annual Women Extraordinaire Forum where women from various backgrounds contribute to the dialogue about women in their professional lives, families and communities. Its strategic intent is to educate and inspire women in Malaysia to be more competitive and successful in their lives.

In July 2016, she has been appointed as the President of Professional Women Network-KL (PWN-KL), a chapter of PWN-Europe/PWN-Global. Its primary objectives is ADVANCING WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP that will impact PWN MEMBERS-women and men, their FAMILIES, corporate PARTNERS, other collaborative networks and forums. It will offer a platform for  sharing KNOWLEDGE, BEST PRACTICES and TOOLS to support members. Its mentors, development programmes and Networks help to break down the barriers to women’s progress whether self-imposed, organizational or cultural
