Apart from being an avid reader, Nabendu likes blogging and writing (one such piece back in 1995 caught the attention of the then honourable President of India for which he was awarded a national level award). Currently he is working on a fiction for which he believes he needs a year long vacation that involves research (apart from the Google of course) and travels to a majority of the south-asian and south-pacific countries by water and by land. He has the faith that being an effective communicator and honing good listening skills through constant self-introspection / analysis leads to a successful and un-complicated life. He is practitioner of yoga and Vedic astrology and believes that a lot of self inflicted harm and stress caused by desires can be cured through meditation and focus on one’s inner self. Apart from enjoying weekends playing his harmonica and keyboard to his 2 year old, Nabendu’s latest fad is to build a collection of exotic “Feng-Shui” fishes.
