Mr. H. P. Suen is Manager, IT Operations at The Hong Kong Jockey Club and has been in the IT profession for over 20 years. He is responsible for the smooth operations of all IT infrastructure at the Club, including systems and network, help desk, OA and engineering support, multi-media displays systems, etc. Before joining the Club, Mr. Suen worked at the IT department of large corporation including HSBC, Bank of America, Bank of China, Hongkong International Terminals. He spent part of his career in Canada, where he worked as MVS system programmer and IT auditor at Bank of Montreal.

Mr. Suen obtained B. Comm. Degree from McGill University, Canada, and completed the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Degree in 2001. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and passed the Manager's Certificate in IT Service Manager with Distinction in 2004.

From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Suen served on the council of Hong Kong Computer Society as Hon. Treasure and Vice President (Internal Affairs). He is a member of Committee on IT Training and Development of Vocational Training Council of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Chairman of Confederation of HP User Group and Chairman of itSMF Hong Kong Chapter.
