International CRM, CIS & Service Symposium 2008

International Customer Service Paper and Project (ICSP) Awards

June 26-27, 2008 Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong

Dear Fellow Members and Friends of APCSC,

People and innovation are two key determining factors in the market competition today. In order to achieve Customer Relationship Excellence, APCSC has been dedicated to developing standards and certification programs for building professional customer service competence in the region. Now, we would like to invite you to submit paper or project for the International Customer Service Paper and Project (ICSP) Awards. The awards wining paper and project will be presented on the International CRM, CIS & Service Symposium 2008 held by Asia Pacific Customer Service Consortium held in late June 2008 in Hong Kong. Details of the Conference are given below:

Date : June 26-27, 2008

Venue : Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong

Global certification programs organized by APCSC are recognized in the region and are endorsed by local universities as well as international bodies. Many market leaders are adopting these business-impact Global Certifications by APCSC.

The ICSP Awards aim to recognize students who have outstanding performance in their customer service paper and project in the Global Certification Program organized by APCSC. The awards also serve as a platform for building, sharing and disseminating knowledge about customer service, promoting professionalism in customer service industry as well as encouraging corporations to further invest on people development for managing and improving their customer service operations systematically and effectively.

While postgraduate students studying Business Studies, Marketing, Industrial Engineering and Psychology will be invited to submit paper, Business Executives from the commercial sectors and industries and students of APCSC's Global Certification Programs will be invited to submit project. Participants who write high quality paper or project will be accepted to make a presentation on their paper and project during the International CRM, CIS & Service Symposium which will be held in June, 2008.

Global Certification Programs assessed under the ICSP Awards include: Certified CRM Director (CRMD), Certified Customer Service Analyst and Auditor (CCSA), Certified Contact Center Manager (CCCM), Certified Contact Center Supervisor (CCCS), Certificate in Customer Service Management (CCSM) and Certificate in Service Excellence Leadership (CSEL).

Papers addressing but not limited to the following symposium sub-themes relating to Customer Relationship Management and Customer Service Excellence are invited from all interested parties. I would be very grateful if you could put your thoughts together into a paper and forward your full paper to Ms Sharon Hu via email at sharonhu@hkcsc.com on or before January 31, 2008 (Thu) for consideration.

(5) Mission Critical Support

Please also find attached the template for preparing your paper manuscript for your information. The Conference Technical Committee reserves the right to select and edit the papers submitted for publication.

Please send a reply note together with your tentative paper title to Ms. Sharon Hu via email at sharonhu@hkcsc.com to indicate your intention to submit a paper on or before 31 January 2008 (Thu).

Deadline for submission of full papers

31 March 2008 (Mon)

Return of reviewed full papers to author(s)

15 April 2008 (Tue)

Deadline for submission of camera-ready final papers

30 May 2008 (Fri)

Selected papers will be presented at the conference. Furthermore, all paper submissions accepted by the Technical Committee of the Symposium will be included and published in a printed conference proceedings distributed free of charge for sharing and referencing by many stakeholders of the industry.
